Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 2025
Douriva is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and follow best-practice guidance under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable laws worldwide.
Our accessibility measures
- Semantic HTML structure for clear headings, landmarks, and relationships
- Keyboard-friendly navigation and visible focus states
- Sufficient color contrast and non-color cues for meaning
- Alternative text for meaningful images and icons
- Accessible forms with labels, instructions, and error messages
- Responsive design supporting zoom, reflow, and various devices
- ARIA used prudently to enhance, not replace, native semantics
- Captioning/transcripts plan for audio/video content we publish
Compatibility & technical specifications
This site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and operating systems. Some third-party integrations (e.g., payment, analytics, embedded media) may have their own accessibility considerations; we vet vendors and raise issues when found.
Ongoing testing & improvement
We continuously review content and components using a combination of automated checks and manual testing, including:
- Keyboard-only navigation review
- Screen reader spot checks (e.g., NVDA/JAWS/VoiceOver)
- Contrast and structure audits (e.g., Axe, Lighthouse)
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. As our catalog and features evolve, we update designs and code to improve usability for everyone.
Known limitations
While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, occasional issues may appear, especially in user-generated or third-party content. We monitor, prioritize, and remediate reported issues.
