Care & Materials
Guidance on caring for Capim Dourado (Golden Grass) and other Douriva materials—so your jewelry and accessories remain luminous and lasting.
Capim Dourado (Golden Grass)
Nature’s Gold: Capim Dourado is a naturally golden fiber harvested sustainably in Brazil. Its brilliance doesn’t fade, but it deserves gentle care.
- Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent brittleness.
- Keep away from water, perfume, and lotions to preserve the natural fibers.
- Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid chemical cleaners.
- When not worn, keep in the pouch or box provided to prevent tangling or crushing.
Metals & Accents
Many pieces combine Capim Dourado with metal components such as gold-plated, silver-plated, or stainless steel accents.
- Polish with a jewelry cloth to maintain shine.
- Avoid moisture and harsh chemicals, which may tarnish plating.
- For silver components, use a gentle anti-tarnish cloth.
Gemstones & Other Elements
Douriva pieces may feature natural gemstones, beads, or other accents.
- Wipe with a soft, damp cloth only—avoid immersion in water.
- Store separately to prevent scratches.
- Avoid dropping or impact, as natural stones may chip or crack.
General Jewelry Care
- Put jewelry on last (after makeup, perfume, and lotions).
- Remove before swimming, showering, or exercising.
- Store each piece in its own pouch or compartment to avoid scratches and tangling.
